RQI was established in 2011 and has developed into a specialist regional investigation firm with its head office in Mackay, Queensland. Our work is focused on the practical realities of conducting investigations outside South East Queensland — where distance, local knowledge, timing, terrain, confidentiality and community dynamics all matter.
We are not a Brisbane or Gold Coast agency simply advertising “Queensland-wide” coverage. RQI is based in regional Queensland and regularly operates across major regional centres, rural towns, mining communities, agricultural areas, coastal locations and remote parts of the state.

RQI is led by Jason King, an experienced investigator with a background in policing, government compliance, regulatory matters, workplace investigations and sensitive factual enquiries.
